FOR NON-SPRING (Summer, Fall, and Winter) - Seasons are played through FOOTHILLS PARKS AND RECREATION DISTRICT and South Suburban Parks and Recreation District (SSPRD). More Info at www.ssprd.org.
Keep your team together and register them for these off seasons through FOOTHILLS or SSPRD. They will assign a coach if your coach is unavailable.

Registration Process:
Before registering, have your US Lacrosse Membership number and expiration date handy.
Go to
US Lacrosse Web Site to get or renew your US Lacrosse membership.

• New US Lacrosse Members usually receive their yearly number/expiration date by email within a few days with online application.
• New US Lacrosse Members may use their temporary number when registering with WS Venom

Registration Fees - Boys and Girls $135.00

West Side Venom Lacrosse is changing uniforms beginning with the 2008 season.


ALL players must buy a new uniform for $55.00 (Jersey & Shorts). All uniform orders need to be placed through the registration website although ADDITIONAL shorts may be purchased through the APPAREL link but will be at a slightly higher cost.

Boys Equipment Rental available for $70.00 (full rental) which includes helmet, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and rib pads (no stick)

NO Girls Stick or Equipment Rentals


With the above considerations, the following will generally apply: Teams will be limited to 18 players with exceptions by coach permission only!

Teams are generally based on school grade. Players are sometimes allowed to play up.

While every effort is made to place every registrant on a team, team placement is determined by the following:

• Past placement on a pre-existing team
• Geographic residence /School attending
• Play with a friend or buddy (hopefully the same as residence or school)
• Available space on a team
• Registration date
• In some cases not all registrants will be placed on a team, in which case registration money will be refunded.
• Players withdrawing from the club after January 15, MAY receive a registration fee refund less $20 processing fee at the club's discretion.

Generally WS Venom fields only one team per grade with a few grades (usually 6th and up boy's teams) having two teams. A pre-existing team will have new players added only with the coach's permission. Inexperienced players are rarely placed on pre-existing teams and are strongly discouraged from requesting such placement. While we try to accommodate everyone's needs and requests, a player's options may be to play on the assigned WS Venom team, play for another club, or not play at all.
